NovaCalc

Built around the real NovaCalc app

NovaCalc is organized around five main app areas and a broad set of calculation tools. The feature set is meant to cover quick arithmetic, structured conversions, visual graph work, saved calculation history, personal defaults, and practical specialty calculators for home, study, business, wellness, and field work.

Calculator & Graph

Calculator, Converter, and Graph are first-class destinations in the app shell. The calculator handles everyday numeric work, while graphing gives visual context for equations and relationships that are easier to understand as curves, slopes, and plotted movement.

Unit Converters

Unit conversion covers length, area, volume, weight, temperature, time, energy, speed, pressure, data, currency, cooking, and time zones. The converter set is designed for practical switching between formats, whether you are reading a recipe, comparing file sizes, checking travel times, or translating measurements for a project.

Finance & Business

Finance tools include tip, discount, salary, budget, interest, SIP, retirement, loan, EMI, and payoff calculators. Business tools cover margin, markup, break-even, VAT/GST/sales tax, CLV, CPA, ROAS, inventory turnover, depreciation, cash flow, payroll, and employee cost so small decisions can be checked before they become commitments.

Wellness & Fitness

Wellness and fitness tools cover BMI, body fat, ideal weight, lean body mass, blood pressure, blood alcohol, dosage, BMR, TDEE, macros, micros, water intake, calories burned, heart rate, 1RM, and pace. They are calculation aids for estimates, planning, and reference, not a replacement for professional medical guidance.

History & Recents

History stores up to 500 local items with favorites, filters, stats, copy and export actions, clear controls, and related-tool reopen support. That makes repeated work easier when you are comparing quotes, checking study examples, reviewing estimates, or returning to a result after a conversation.

Tools & Construction

Utility tools include dates, age, random numbers, password generation, text tools, QR codes, ratios, colors, and aspect ratios. Construction tools include concrete, lumber, roofing, fencing, material, beam load, slope, and shape-volume calculators for planning material quantities before the work begins.

Feature areas in detail

  • The Calculator page is the fast path for direct arithmetic and quick value checks.
  • The Converter page groups many specialized tools so users can jump from general units to domain-specific calculators.
  • The Graph page supports visual thinking when a numeric result alone is not enough.
  • The History page keeps recent work accessible with filtering, favorites, copying, exporting, and cleanup actions.
  • The Settings page controls appearance, default units, default currency, fitness defaults, and visible tool hubs.

Android shortcuts

Android Quick Settings tiles can open Calculator, Converter, or Graph directly. These shortcuts reduce friction for repeat actions and make NovaCalc useful from the system surface, not only from the app icon.

Desktop-friendly layout

Desktop builds include layout paths such as a side rail and compact window support. The same tool categories remain available while the interface adapts to larger screens and multitasking workflows.

Personal defaults

Settings allow users to choose light, dark, or system theme behavior, adjust preferred units and currency, set fitness defaults, and decide which hubs should stay visible for their own routine.

App behavior from source

  • Tool categories are presented as purposeful hubs instead of one long undifferentiated list.
  • Local-first history helps users revisit calculations without requiring a separate account flow.
  • Download options include Google Play, GitHub releases, and desktop packages where available.
  • Support, privacy, and terms pages are linked from the app website for quick reference.

Production-ready details

  • Feature descriptions are grouped by user intent so the page can answer what the app does without forcing visitors to decode internal module names.
  • Tool counts, app areas, and download paths are stated as product facts instead of marketing filler.
  • Wellness, finance, and construction features are positioned as practical calculation aids with clear expectations around judgment and verification.
  • Desktop and Android behaviors are documented separately so users understand which platform-specific conveniences are available.
