These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the NovaCalc application ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

You may use NovaCalc for lawful personal or business purposes. The app includes Calculator, Converter, Graph, History, and Settings pages, plus calculation tools for converters, wellness, finance, business, utilities, and construction. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its normal operation.

2. Calculation Results

NovaCalc provides calculation and conversion tools for convenience. Results are informational and should be checked before you rely on them for financial, health, construction, legal, safety, or other important decisions.

3. Unlocks and Purchases

Some app features may be gated. The app source defines Android Play Store installs as unlocked and uses device-bound entitlement checks for desktop unlock status. Purchase availability can vary by platform.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by NovaCalc and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovaCalc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms.

9. Feature-Specific Disclaimers

Certain features of NovaCalc are subject to additional disclosures about data handling and informational accuracy. These disclosures are collected on the Legal & Disclaimers page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using those features you acknowledge the disclaimers shown on that page and in the in-app dialogs.

In particular: exchange-rate and cryptocurrency data are fetched from public sources and may be delayed. They are for personal reference only and must not be used for trading or financial decisions. The global hotkey and the floating calculator window are convenience features whose behavior depends on the permissions you grant at the operating-system level. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your system settings.
